Thomas Fasche : “Union Bank, 8th War Loan: Peace Through Victory” (1918)

Archival Inkjet on Matte Finish Fine Art Paper

The Ibis’s giclée process uses archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper to achieve crisp detail and rich, lasting color. Unlike posters, they will not yellow with time, but will maintain their original quality for as long as you own them. If you are unhappy with your print for any reason, you are welcome to return it for a full refund.

This gorgeous Art Nouveau poster was published in Vienna in 1918. It promotes the eighth war loan being raised by the Austo-Hungarian Empire, which was to fall before the end of that year. On the altar appear the crest of the dual monarchy and the German inscription “durch Seig zum Frieden,” or “Peace through Victory.”
